PAY: £15 per hour, annual salary £20,000
WORKING HOURS: 7:30am 3pm, Monday Friday

A vibrant independent Primary School located in the borough of Richmond are looking to recruit a Welfare Officer on a full-time contract.
The school is looking for a Welfare Officer who is smart, confident and capable, quick to learn and hard working.
The primary role of the Welfare Officer is to provide first aid support and care to pupils. The role also includes acting as a bus supervisor for the morning bus (from 7:30am).
In your role as a Welfare Officer, you will be working as part of a fantastic team to ensure that children are provided with the best opportunities to thrive in school.

Welfare Officer
Providing a caring first aid service for the pupils and members of staff
Responsible for implementation of First Aid procedures across the school
Supporting students with medical needs
Participate in the promotion of health education and wellbeing within the school
Previous experience with first aid or medical needs essential
Healthcare background essential
A strong written and verbal communicator
Be highly organised and have an ability to remain calm under pressure
Requires a high level of confidentiality
A keen eye for detail and accuracy
Flexible and supportive with the ability to work cohesively
Graded Excellent by ISI in pupils academic and other achievements, and in pupils personal development
Work as part of a dedicated, hardworking and highly motivated team
Caring and inclusive ethos
High levels of enthusiasm, perseverance and commitment from pupils
Access by SWR & Overground, as well as several bus routes
