Mid-Level Developer (PHP) Job Summary

We are looking for a Mid-Level Developer to join our friendly, hardworking, and established team.

The role involves creating, developing, and maintaining high-quality web applications and digital solutions.

Collaborating with designers, project managers, and other developers, you will focus on building scalable and efficient solutions that align with our clients' needs and business goals.

Responsibilities include contributing clean, well-tested code using PHP and other languages, managing and maintaining websites and content management systems, meeting deadlines and client requests.

You will work on diverse digital projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Technical Skills : Good working knowledge of PHP, specifically the Laravel framework
  • Development : Develop, test and maintain web applications and digital solutions
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot, debug and resolve issues
  • Code Quality : Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and share knowledge within the team
  • Version Control: Familiar with version control tools (git/bitbucket)
  • Analytical Skills: Analytical mindset and solution-oriented approach
  • Project Management: Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget
  • Planning: Assist in the estimation and planning of development tasks and projects
  • Communication : Strong communication skills with clients 
  • Team Collaboration : Work with designers, developers, and other team members to ensure successful project execution.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies and best practices

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience : At least 3 years of commercial experience ideally within an agency environment working with:
  • HTML/CSS/JavaScript/Vue JS
  • Bootstrap and other front-end frameworks
  • integrating API's and third-party systems
  • RESTful APIs
  • PHP/Laravel
  • Git/Version Control
  • MySQL
  • Organisational Skills : Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Time Management :Ability to manage multiple clients/projects simultaneously and work under pressure
