Technical Trainer in Beeston

Canon Europa Nottingham is a busy service and refurbishment centre with customers located in several countries. Technical Training travel frequently to train customers to operate, service and optimize Canon’s semiconductor machines at customer sites. The engineer will be required to work on various kinds of Canon semiconductor equipment and work with customers to train them on production equipment either on site or at our Training Centre. Interaction with customers is essential in the job so a positive outlook and flexible approach are required. What we ask

As the Technical Trainer you will:
Train customers on equipment either on site in a busy cleanroom environment or at training centre
Working in Nottingham cleanroom maintaining training equipment
Keeping up to date on training/service information
Create all training materials both for customers and for internal stakeholders

You will need

As the Technical Trainer you will posses the following skills and experience:
Minimum HND in Electronics or Electrical Engineering
Experience in Technical Training (Similar field would be preferable but not essential)
High standard of written and spoken English and numeracy skills
Good presentation and public speaking skills
Computer literate with a good competence of standard software including Word, Excel PowerPoint and Outlook
Good interpersonal skills and a flexible approach
Proven employment track record
Non essential skills that would be advantageous
