Technical Assistant in Blackpool

A leading manufacture of nutraceuticals and related products are seeking a Technical Assistant to join the team at their site in Blackpool.

This will be a varied role focussed on supporting the Technical Operations of the business across Quality, Production and New Product Development (NPD).

The role will involve both Lab and office based work and is an excellent opportunity for you to build on your existing experience from a relevant role within a similar company.

Role Overview

• Assist the Technical Director with tasks to support Quality Assurance (QA), NPD, Technical Documentation and Customer Queries.
• QA responsibilities including the completion of technical documentation and reporting of non-conformities, CAPAs.
• Involvement in Lab Based trials of new formulations and materials to assist with NPD.

Requirements

• Prior Experience of working in a relevant role within Nutraceutical/ Pharmaceutical Manufacture. (Production/QA/QC/Documentation/NPD)
• Knowledge of relevant Quality Systems and processes used in GMP manufacturing.
• Adaptable with a proactive approach to work, and interested in a varied scientific role involving both Lab and office based work.
• Relevant degree level qualification or equivalent is beneficial.
