NSPCC Glasgow Infant & Family Team Manager

Salary range: £38,648 - £43,918

35 hours per week

Based in Govan, Glasgow

We are looking to recruit a Team Manager with a social work qualification to lead on the continuing development of the NSPCC Strategy. We are developing our innovative services further and building on our strong foundations of valued support to children and families.

If you have experience of working with children and families and skilled in identifying and addressing safeguarding and have the skills and experience to apply for this exceptional post, we would love to hear from you.

The successful candidate will be part of Glasgow Infant and Family Team (GIFT) , an innovative service working within the theme of Infant Mental Health. They will be part of a multi-disciplinary team, carrying out therapeutic assessments and interventions & working collaboratively across professional disciplines to address the needs of vulnerable infants and children. The composition of the team includes Social Workers, Clinical Psychologists, and workers with Lived Experience.

Candidates need to demonstrate:

  • Excellent communication and assessment skills,
  • Extensive knowledge and experience of Safeguarding and Infant Mental Health,
  • A passion to drive improved outcomes for Infants, Children, and their families, and
  • A commitment to inclusive practice.

    • This role will require an enhanced DBS check
