We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Coordinator on a 6-month maximum term basis, located at our Perth CBD Office.


About this role

As a Talent Acquisition Coordinator you will be required to efficiently coordinate and execute the end-to-end recruitment process in support of Talent Acquisition activities including but not limited to

  • Providing support and guidance to Formal Leaders, internal/external candidates, and external suppliers on Western Power’s talent acquisition and selection process.
  • Providing general administrative and operational support to Talent Acquisition area including but not limited to: Generating and distributing accurate employment contracts / letters ensuring new hire documentation and details are complete and accurate for all new hires resulting in a seamless onboarding process. Completion of low to mid-level appointments including direct / internal / secondments as requested. Managing and actioning the recruitment inbox. Allocation of requisitions and liaising with systems team on IT / systems issues. Seeking PD approval from HM’s as well as drafting, posting, and editing job ads. Screen / Interview scheduling. Coordination of pre-employment / visa / relocation processes.
  • Assisting with the coordination of entry level program recruitment activities.
  • Maintaining real time accuracy of RMS and all trackers as well as filing all onboarding documentation.
  • Facilitating the onboarding of new starters to the Talent Acquisition team.
  • Participating in and/or leading continuous improvement initiatives relating to recruitment work practices and systems.
  • Generating ad hoc reporting and participating in and / or supporting talent acquisition projects as requested.
  • About you

    We are seeking someone with experience and attributes that include:

  • Completion of Year 12 (or equivalent) with English and Mathematics subjects
  • Prior experience in providing administrative support to a busy Talent Acquisition / HR or related team is essential
  • Knowledge of Talent Acquisition best practice methodologies
  • Familiarisation of recruitment systems and reporting metrics
  • MS Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • High energy, working with a sense of urgency and a high level of accuracy
