Supported Housing OfficerHulme, Manchester35 hours pw6 months£20 Umbrella phOur client, a social housing provider in Manchester, is looking for a Supported Housing Officer to work with Young People on an initial 6 month basis.The rota runs from Monday to Saturday between 8am and 8pm.Responsibilities of the Supported Housing Officer:Managing a caseload of around 12 clients aged 16- 25 yearsLiaising with Local Authorities housing teams surrounding new applicationsSupporting in the maintenance of the client waiting listAssessing new clients support needsEnsuring clients understand, and abide by their tenancy agreementsEnabling clients to access employment, education and training opportunitiesSafeguarding clients and reporting any concernsMonitoring tenants rent accounts and supporting them to maximise their incomePromoting clients to live independently and build lasting life skills Essential criteria of the Supported Housing Officer include:Enhanced DBS with Barred List (Children)Experience within a similar supported living environment For more information on the role, please contact Bethan Hall at Hamilton Woods Associates, or apply now for an immediate start
