We’re looking for enthusiastic and energetic new team membersto support our operations team this summer. It is a varied role that will giveyou a taste of all the aspects that go into making a busy hotel run likeclockwork.

Working across our two venues, Another Place The Lake &The Brackenrigg Inn, you will support in both front and back of house roles, toplay a valuable role in ensuring everything is in place in order to provide ourguests with an experience they will never forget. You’ll be working alongside ateam of like-minded and passionate people that really care and when your shiftis over, embrace the elements and take advantage of free wetsuit hire,discounted food and drink, discounted spa treatments and lake access from ourprivate jetty.

Whatyou’ll do:

Front Of House

• Meet, greet and welcome our guestsinto our hotel / pub
•  Provide the guest with a tour around allfacilities available to them and guide them to their rooms
• Represent our brand in all aspects ofyour role.
• Be a point of contact for guestsduring their stay.
• Take orders & serve food acrossall our vibrant restaurants.

In housekeeping

•  Supportour busy housekeeping team by giving them a boost on our busiest of days by:stripping beds, emptying bins and taking away dirty glasses, crockery andcutlery
• Stockingand maintaining all our housekeeping cupboards and pantries
• Supplythe team with products, equipment, and linen they need to service and clean
• Keepour hotel corridors clean and clear of any laundry and equipment that has beenused in the rooms

Behind the scenes

• Make sure that our chemical spray guns blue towel dispensers are filledand replenished
• Ensure waste bins are emptied regularly
• Wash dishes and cutlery making sure all areas have enough to use (thiswill include using our dish washers)
• Polish cutlery ready for our bar and waiting teams to use
• Clean and sanitise our kitchens and back of house corridor floors
• Wash and polish glasses
• Make sure our bar team have enough products to use
