Ideally you'll be based in the East Coast of Scotland as we'd love your presence regularly in the Dundee office for some great engagement with colleagues in person.

What's the role?

This is a key role for us to look at Insight’s planning and performance management capabilities by working with the Strategy and Organisation Effectiveness teams to design and implement improved strategic and operational planning and reporting processes, to build robust reporting and dashboards through which delivery can be monitored and managed.

These processes should enable progress against strategic and operational objectives to be measured, evaluated, effectively communicated to stakeholders, and used as the evidence-base to inform further plans.

You will develop and deliver insightful and actionable BI reports, scorecards and dashboards that tell a performance story to help drive improvement and growth.

As a trusted advisor to our senior leaders, your time will be split between diving deep into rows of data, designing performance metrics and providing advice on planning, KPIs and performance metrics.

Day to day you'll:

• Develop and deliver reports and dashboards that enable performance to be monitored and evaluated
• Provide support to senior leaders, proactively sharing knowledge and helping to establish a culture of data-driven decision making
• Develop a performance measurement framework that aligns strategic objectives with relevant measures and KPIs
• Create a passion for data and analysis that drives action by working with Leaders to understand reports and insight relating to performance
• Develop and deliver insightful and actionable reports that marry together data with visualisations and narrative to tell the performance story of the business and enable brilliant, evidence-led decision making

What you'll bring

• Systems thinker with ability to structure and analyse business information, grounding analysis with quantitative and qualitative evidence
• Experience in relating strategic KPI’s to business processes and organisational design
• Performance management and analysis experience – MI reports and dashboard
• An experienced professional working in data analytics and insight
• Proven track record in developing and implementing reporting, dashboards and insight reports that support organisational objectives and action oriented performance plans.
• Articulating the data in way which is suitable and understandable for our key stakeholders
• The ability to translate business information into actionable insights
• Results-oriented with a focus on identifying opportunities to drive performance and delivering measurable outcomes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
