Job Title: Social Worker - Adult Safeguarding TeamLocation: BuryHourly Rate: £30.00 per hourAbout the Role:We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Social Worker to join our Adult Safeguarding Team in Bury. This role offers a valuable opportunity to contribute to the protection and well-being of vulnerable adults in our community by providing expert support and intervention in safeguarding cases.Key Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive assessments of vulnerable adults to identify risks and develop safeguarding plans.Implement and review safeguarding plans to ensure they effectively address identified risks and promote the well-being of adults at risk.Work collaboratively with vulnerable adults, their families, and multi-agency professionals to deliver integrated safeguarding services.Provide direct support and intervention to vulnerable adults experiencing abuse or neglect.Attend and contribute to multi-agency meetings, including safeguarding strategy meetings and case conferences.Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with statutory requirements and organizational policies.Offer guidance, support, and mentoring to less experienced team members as needed.Requirements:Qualified Social Worker with a degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification.Registered with Social Work England.Significant experience in adult safeguarding within a statutory setting.Strong assessment, analytical, and decision-making skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with vulnerable adults, families, and professionals.Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable adults.Benefits:Competitive hourly rate of £30.00.Supportive and collaborative team environment.Opportunities for professional development and career progression.Flexible working arrangements to promote work-life balance.How to Apply:If you are passionate about safeguarding vulnerable adults and meet the requirements above, please submit your CV and a cover letter outlining your suitability for the role to Jamie at Ackerman Pierce:Phone: (phone number removed)Email
