Vacancy: Shift Maintenance Team Leader Location: Swindon-UK Job Family: Engineering As the Shift Maintenance Team Leader you will provide leadership to a shift of maintenance engineers, working alongside the production team to help ensure machine up time and production support. • Provide leadership to a shift of maintenance engineers, working alongside the production team to help ensure machine up time and production support.
• Lead Tier 1 meetings and ensure all information has been recorded and handed on.
• Support projects in the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of key automated manufacturing & site plant equipment.
• Lead and promote process modifications and improvements to meet agreed specifications in line with Business' requirements.
• Ensure all engineering work practices meet all current EHS legislation and apply Group EHS policies.
• Continually seek to improve existing processes in support of increased material utilisation, production.
• ensure effective use of resources, development of engineers and measurement of effectiveness using the Hexagon reporting system.

Requirements for the role:

• Ideally apprentice trained with 4 years experience in an automated, fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Experience of high temperature ovens, roll handling and hydraulic presses an advantage
• Electrically biased engineer with solid understanding of mechanical engineering an advantage
• Experience of stepper motors, servo drives, variable frequency drives and ac/dc motors
• Proven knowledge of process automation equipment including PLC systems: Allen Bradley, Logix/Studio 5000/Device/Control Net, Mitsubishi Developer, Omron CX Programmer & BMS Trend 963 software
