Service Engineer in Carlisle

Service Engineer required. My client is a leading supplier and maintainer of diesel-powered equipment across Scotland and England. They are looking to bring on board a Service Engineer to look after their diesel equipment and ancillaries across the Central Belt. The successful candidate will be familiar with diesel engine maintenance, will have experience across fault finding, diagnosis, maintenance and repair and will be based locally to Carlisle.You will need a full UK Driving License for this positionService Engineer Position OverviewTo service equipment on customer sites and to respond to call-outs when neededTo work closely with the Hire Controller, Driver and Fitters to ensure all hires proceed smoothlyTo work on the repair and maintenance of pumps and other diesel equipmentTo service, repair and overhaul equipment and associated components both within the depot, at customer premises and third-party sitesTo assist with the loading and unloading of pumps and generators onto the lorry for deliveries through the use of Hi-Ab Lorry Mounted Crane and Forklift TruckComplying with all relevant health and safety proceduresTravelling throughout the Central Belt Service Engineer Position RequirementsDiesel engine maintenance experience is essentialPrevious experience in a Service Engineer position is ideal, or be happy to travel for the roleFirst-hand experience with Fault Finding, Diagnosis, Maintenance and RepairCSCS Card desirableHappy to take part in call out rotaFull Driving licenceBased locally to Carlisle Service Engineer Position RemunerationSalary £28,000 - £31,600 + call out payCompany Van, Fuel card, Specialist Tools provided40 hours a week Monday - Friday 8:00 - 16:3033 Days holiday inclusive of public holidaysLife insuranceProduct trainingPensionBennett and Game Recruitment are a multi-disciplined technical recruitment agency based in Chichester, West Sussex operating across the UK with specialist teams covering a range of industries.
