The role

We have a new opportunity in our PLT team for someone who is experience in and passionate about SEO! We're looking for a Senior SEO Exec to join our Digital Marketing department at PrettyLittleThing to support with driving the brands optimisation strategy.

The position would suit an individual with experience in a Search Engine Optimisation role (agency or client side), who is looking for an opportunity further develop their career by joining a fast paced and growing business.

What you'll be doing

  • Grow Organic traffic & revenue in line with forecasts & business objectives; Improve rankings and visibility for core target keywords.
  • Working autonomously on elements of the Organic Search strategy and reporting back into SEO Managers.
  • Conduct in-depth on-site and off-site analysis on PLT to identify issues/areas of improvement and provide strategic solutions.
  • Perform regular keyword research in-line with business objectives and seasonality to identify new areas for growth.
  • Day-to-day optimisation of categories, sub-categories and campaigns in line with seasonality and key customer trends.
  • Communication to team and wider management on weekly/monthly results to show the impact of work.
  • Help manage junior members workload and input into training/development.
  • Carry out methodical analysis of key competitors the market to identify on-site and off-site opportunities for growth.
  • Work with key stakeholders across the Marketing team and wider business to develop and implement regular Content Marketing campaigns to drive brand/non-brand visibility.
  • Keeping up to date with new SEO developments, informing the rest of the team and key stakeholders to drive early adoption.

  • Support the Assistant Manager(s) and Manager(s) with projects, reporting, on-boarding of new tools/software/sites etc.
  • Maintain strong team communication, be the 'go-to' person for junior members and new starters to come to with questions.
  • You build relationships with different stakeholders around the business Digital, Marketing, Buying, eCommerce, Bi and IT.
  • Trusted to run with pieces of work/projects/meetings on your own with minimal input from managers/other Senior Execs.
  • A solid understanding of Search Engine Optimisation and the wider Digital Marketing field.
  • Strong copywriting skills.
  • Experience of working with all common Microsoft packages & strong Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with an ability to generate key insights and reports.
  • Experience with using a variety of Search Engine Optimisation tools & platforms such as Botify, Lumar, Screaming Frog, SEMrush, Sistrix & AHREFS.
  • Strong knowledge/experience of working with HTML.
  • Experience of dealing with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience of working with Google Analytics.
