This is what you will be doing:Take ownership and responsibility for delivering all aspects of the project within agreed timelines.

Produce and interpret engineering drawings and specifications in line with national and international standards.

Ensure all project components are delivered according to the established timelines.

Identify project risks and implement appropriate mitigation or contingency plans.

Interface with internal and external customers, providing technical support and guidance as the product expert.

Demonstrate the suitability of proposed design solutions using engineering tools and practices such as tolerance analysis, stress analysis, DFMEA, PFMEA, reliability analysis, and design for manufacture.

Define and conduct relevant product testing, including mechanical (endurance, shock, vibration) and environmental (temperature, humidity, chemical) tests.

Create and maintain comprehensive project design dossiers.

And this is what you'll need:Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Experience in an electro-mechanical design environment would be advantageous.

Proficiency in a 3D modeling software package, including parts, assemblies, and drawings would be advantageous.
