Senior Project Cost ControllerLocation: Hybrid, with 2-3 days in Midlands£75,000 - £85,000 Salary PackagesStart date: ASAPProjects: Renewable energy, infrastructure.Turner Lovell are recruiting for a fast growing international EPC contractor who have a strong pipeline of renewable energy, electricity and offshore wind projects across the UK and Europe.We are currently shortlisting for a Senior Project Cost Controller to join a €1bn+ engineering and construction project in the UK. This is a rare opportunity to control costs on a high value project at the heart of the UK's energy transition. In this role, you will:Maintain sharp focus on cost baselines and budgets - ensure tight alignmentSupport forecast of cost estimation for material, labour, manufactured costs, suppliers' invoices, timesheets etcVerify and validate actual costs across all dimensions - keep real-time pulse on expendituresAnalyse movements and trends, spot risks - drive decisive actions to mitigateCommunicate financial status clearly to stakeholders across the projectWork hand-in-hand with Finance to integrate project data into project costs.Link costs to schedule - provide inputs to guide revenue projectionsSupport forecasting with accuracy leveraging your analytical strengthsPresent transparent reports at all reviews - highlight deviations and root causesCollaborate closely with planning to align costs and scheduleThe Person:Degree qualified in finance or project finance accounting5+ years cost controlling of major engineering / construction turnkey projectsDemonstrable experience of Project finance leading on large & complex infrastructure projectsDeeply knowledgeable in ERP systems like SAPA strong leader, collaborator and communicator able to manage small teamsFamiliar with project planning and scheduling tools like Primavera P6If you have the business and financial acumen to work on in a fast paced project environment and have the ambition to work in the renewable energy sector, this is an ideal role for you.
