We are currently partnering with a leading higher educational institution based in London, who are recruiting for a Senior HR Officer to join their growing team on a 6 months FTC basis.
Our client is proud to be the home of world leading research on the global issues today.
This is a full-time position with a salary band of £41,317 to £48,482 per annum (subject to experience) and the start date is subject to notice.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Leading on supporting end-to-end recruitment campaigns and acting as the first of contact for recruitment queries
Completing pre-employment checks, on-boarding activities for new starters, including proof right to work in the UK documentations
Preparing and issuing employment-related documentation for newly recruited members of staff, ensuring offer letters, contracts, and other correspondence, are issued efficiently
Advising managers and staff on policies and procedures relating to terms and conditions of employment
Providing quality assurance about HR operations activities, identifying measures, monitoring progress and reporting and seeking new ways to improve procedures
Lead on project work when required
Experience required:
Experience understanding the employee lifecycle changes and employment contractual documentations
Experience of developing process and procedures for HR practices around recruitment and operations
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
Experiences dealing with high-volume deadline driven requests in a calm, diplomatic and persuasive manner
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain HR policies and procedures clearly to a range of staff, while maintaining confidentiality
