Austin Fraser has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join one of the leading retail chains, running two of the busiests sites in the UK. This is a great time to join the business as you'd be given the opportunity to lead projects and build new features . They are now looking to onboard a Senior Frontend Engineer with 4+ years of experience working with Typescript, React and Next.js . In return you will benefit from an excellent remuneration package.

The role:

• Develop and enhance features
• Lead the conceptualisation of new projects
• Support/mentor less experienced developers
• Solving complex problems

The candidate:

• 4+ years of commercial experience using Typescript, HTML, CSS
• Leadership experience - leading a project from scratch, initiatives, mentoring ct.
• Experience with React and Next.js
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies
• Understanding of microservice architecture
• Strong TDD experience , paired programming
• Able to perform unit and integration testing
• Containerization experience - able to set up containers using Docker, CI/CD
• Experience with building fully accessible and high performing applications - WCAG 2.1+ compliant
• Application Security
