Software Engineer (Frontend)

Leeds - 2x a week

Salary: £45k - £65k D.O.E

Fruition IT are working with a well-established tech-first business who are embarking on a complete technical transformation. This client is looking to bring in a team of Software Engineers to work on a bespoke software platform as part of the business growth.

The Frontend Software Engineer will be responsible for working in a creative environment to build the frontend platform to industry standards. You will be working with scripting languages such as JavaScript and Typescript, spun up into an AWS platform.

What will I be doing?

Developing web applications and systems using JavaScript, React and Typescript.
Define and analyse business requirements.
Support continuous improvement and integrations to enhance deployment.
Collaborate with engineers, architects and tested to develop unit code.
Working in an AWS environment

Key requirements:

JavaScript development, for at least 3 years.
Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as TypeScript and React.
Experience with NodeJS.
Understanding of terraform as infrastructure as code.
Working with REST and GraphQL.
Agile ways of working (Scrum/Kanban).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work in a team and to your own initiative.
