Senior Finance Business Partner in Dukinfield

Forge Talent are excited to be working with a fast-paced 80 million turnover business looking for a Senior Finance Business Partner to be based near Manchester airport. As the Senior Finance Business Partner, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient and effective financial control, reporting, budgeting and forecasting for multiple business units in the North. Partnering with the Regional Operations Director across Sales, Procurement and central support functions.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Setting, monitoring, maintenance, and improvement of operational & financial KPI's.
• Continually improve the quality, accuracy of financial information to key stakeholders
• Prepare forecast/budgets and present with full explanation key movements to FD and Ops Director
• Ownership of the production of accurate monthly regional P&L
• Ownership of the region balance sheet and oversight of high-quality reconciliations
• Ensure that all operational month-end accounts are accurate
• Provide a full understanding of any deviations from flash /budget and any future impacts
• Ensure all internal/external weekly, monthly and quarterly financial reports are complete
• Continually challenge the financial results with regional and unit operational management. Support the identification of operational efficiency and cash-generating
• Assist with cost control and cost reduction projects, with a key focus on labour & COGS efficiency.
• Support Operational Management with the preparation and delivery of Regional Business/Ops Plan.
• Provision of accurate information & high-quality reporting & analysis Driving performance & continuous improvement in efficiency.
• Assist in commercial reviews, providing financial evaluation and support
• Preparation of business cases to support investment decisions and produce post-investment appraisals monitoring the impact of these investments.

Experience & Qualifications:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified Accountant.
• 3+ years in a Business Partner role.
• Stong management accounting and analytical skills are essentialHighly analytical.
• Strong stakeholder management.
• Dealing with high stock
• Advanced Excel skills, and systems experience with SAP
