Purpose of the Role:

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Finance Business Partner to join our Global Finance department. The ideal candidate will have a background in financial analysis, budgeting & forecasting, business partnerships, and building performance management KPIs. As Finance Business Partner, this role will play a pivotal role in driving financial performance and strategic decision making across various departments within the organization. This role will work closely with both the US based Global Finance team and UK management, so clear communication, attention to detail, and strong business acumen are vital to position.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a trusted liaison to cross-functional teams, providing financial insights and guidance to support decision-making and achieve business objectives.
  • Be a key part in the development and execution of the financial planning process, including annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
  • Working with project managers to drive accuracy of revenue forecasting.
  • Update complex financial models and run analysis on these.
  • Develop financial models where required to support decision-making within the business.
  • Analyse business performance metrics, including revenue and overheads. Identify and investigate variance between actuals and budgets/forecasts, providing explanations and recommendations to management.
  • Prepare financial reports and presentations for management, summarizing key findings, insights, and recommendations.
  • Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial planning and analysis activities within the business.
  • Conduct system data validation to ensure accuracy of reporting.  
  • Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as requested by management to support strategic initiatives and business needs.
  • Minor level of other financial support duties.

Skills/Experience Required

  • Preferably a bachelor’s degree in accounting and/or finance. 
  • Previous experience as a Financial Analyst, or similar role with focus on supporting cross-functional teams.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting techniques, excel, and Salesforce.com. Experience with Power BI, Intacct, and Adaptive a plus.
  • Excellent ability to partner effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Proven analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Must have excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
