Job Title: Part-Time Senior Finance Officer
Location: Birmingham - Sparkhill
Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 per annum (pro rata)
Contract Type: 3-6 Month Contract
Working Hours: Part-Time - 3 Days a Week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday)
Systems: Experience with Business Central / Microsoft Dynamics is desirable

Job Purpose:
Our client, a reputable charity, seeks a Part-Time Financial Management Specialist to manage internal financial systems, maintain accurate records, and produce draft management accounts for the Head of Finance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain financial systems and controls.
  • Oversee payroll process with external payroll service.
  • Produce and submit quarterly VAT returns to HMRC.
  • Ensure prompt banking and verify bank reconciliations.
  • Raise invoices and manage credit control.
  • Process purchase invoices and support the Finance Team.
  • Produce management accounts for financial performance monitoring.
  • Assist with year-end, audits, and budgeting.
  • Supervise finance team members and volunteers.
  • Oversee procurement compliance.

    • Requirements:

  • Experience in financial management.
  • Familiarity with Business Central / Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
