Percival are excited to be working exclusively with HideOut Youth Zone to help them recruit for a new Senior Finance and Admin Assistant to join their growing team.

Empower Youth Zone is the umbrella charity that oversees operations of the award winning HideOut Youth Zone (within the OnSide Network) which has supported over 7,000 children and young people since its opening in 2020.

This newly created role has come up at an exciting time for Empower as they soon open a second site in Salford later this year.

This position will aid and support the finance and operations of the Youth Zones to enable the smooth running of their activities.

Job Title: Senior Finance and Admin Assistant

Report to: Director of Operations

Responsible For: 2x Finance Assistants and a Reception Manager

Salary: £26,278 - £28,423 (pro-rata)

Working Pattern: 4 days per week (30 hours)

Location: Manchester, M12 5PX

This role with be responsible for assisting the Senior Finance Manager in a variety of tasks across payroll, bank reconciliations, invoicing, auditing, monthly financial reporting and accounting.

You will also provide support for the Director of Operations and Business Administration Manager in general HR functions across recruitment and providing support to staff.

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Have at least one years’ experience in a varied finance role
• Have extensive administration experience in a fast-paced environment
• Ideally have used Sage accounting software or similar
• Ideally have experience working in the charity sector or in a youth environment.
• Desirably have prior line management experience.
