We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Senior Digital Marketing Manager.

As the digital marketing lead for HSBC UK Commercial Banking, you will play a pivotal role in supporting business growth, by harnessing the power of marketing technology and the website to: drive revenue, deliver positive customer experiences and build the strength of our brand.

UK Commercial Banking has c.

800k customers and is a key financial contributor to both the HSBC UK and Global Commercial Banking.

We support a wider range of customers from start-ups all the way through to larger corporates, from across a broad range of industries.

HSBC UK is the natural banking partner for any UK business looking to grow, providing support at every stage of their journey, from award winning digital banking to finance for growth to support in expanding internationally.

You will lead a team of 5 people and partner with the business and colleagues from across UK and Global Marketing to deliver great day to day digital marketing support for the business.

You will also develop a plan to grow and transform our digital marketing capabilities.

The role offers the opportunity to drive strategic change and transformation, as well as hands on delivery with the chance to show tangible business results.


You’ll be part of a friendly, supportive and collaborative team, which has great relationships across UK and Global marketing and the UK Commercial Banking business.

In this role, you will:

• Develop and execute a strategy to enhance and optimise the website


• Supervise the optimisation of digital customer experiences through data-driven approaches to improve user experience and SEO results


• Partner with the business to understand their priorities and then translate these into an action plan for the website and digital marketing support 


• Develop the strategy and road map for adoption of marketing technology across UK Commercial Bank, leveraging the technology and tools that provided by Global CMB Marketing 


• Assist in creating customer strategies for delivering personalized, impactful content management and messaging throughout the customer journey to enhance communication and provide a personalized and relevant experience.


• Manage a team of people to deliver key work and strategic initiatives, and, ensure the team has robust operational processes in place, leveraging technology to drive automation and efficiencies


• Understand the regulatory requirements of the UK market and ensure the website team operates within necessary controls to meet these

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

• Proven knowledge and experience working with websites in a B2B environment.


• Experience of translating business requirements into conceptual and detailed technology solutions.


• Proven leadership in overseeing PWS and digital marketing operations, utilizing content management technology, personalization, and customer journey optimization to achieve business goals.


• Experience in managing direct and cross functional teams, demonstrating strong abilities in promoting an innovative, collaborative, and high-performance culture.


• Ability to set a vision and drive change 


• Ideally – experience of working with enterprise-level CMS technologies (, Adobe AEM, Sitecore, etc and experience deploying optimisation tools (, Optimizely, Adobe test and target etc). 

This is a hybrid based in London with 3 days per week required in the office
