Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer

Salary: £44,482- £54,945 per annum + pension (27.1% - 27.9%), hybrid working, no core hours and more

Location: Newport, Hybrid (20% Onsite)

Overview :

As a DevOps Enablement Engineer, you will be integral to our Platform Engineering group, turning innovative ideas into customer value. You'll work within an established team, using a variety of technologies and delivery platforms to enhance and support the DevOps journey.

Responsibilities Include:

• Implement and manage CI/CD tools and pipelines
• Embed automated testing within CI/CD pipelines
• Provide service support, including troubleshooting and incident resolution
• Identify and track risks and issues
• Mentor and share knowledge with junior team member

Essential Experience Required:

• Strong understanding of DevOps principles and experience in iterative development cultures
• Administration and configuration of Azure DevOps Pipelines or similar orchestration tools
• Proven experience with CI/CD tools and pipeline administration
• Demonstrable experience with automated testing and integration in CI/CD
• Experience in service support and incident resolution
• Knowledge sharing and mentoring skills

Desirable Experience:

• Scripting or development experience
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and containerisation technologies (Docker, Azure services)
