As an Analyst reporting into the Head of System Flexibility, you will be part of the System Flexibility team involved with delivering customer and network flexibility solutions to help develop and operate our network more efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

•Working across the organisation to gather information

•Producing reports and data for internal and external audiences

•Prepare documents (presentations and outline written documents) and develop in line with colleagues’ input.

•Maintain effective communication and working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders

•Supporting the wider team with general administration to ensure the achievement of monthly deadlines and department performance

•Contribute to industry wide market development with other DNOs by representing Northern Powergrid on ENA Open Network working groups.

What qualifications and experience should you have?

•Educated to degree level in a relevant subject

•2 A Levels or NVQ Level 4 or HNC

•IT and Analytical experience

•Ideally some experience working in the energy sector (but not essential)

•Ability to use appropriate IT applications effectively (including Outlook, SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
