Overview:

Toprovide credit risk analysis expertise to the Wholesale BankingEurope team in support of the Banks commercial activity in allproduct lines and with all types ofcounterparties.

Close support to be provided tothe business in order to evaluate and assess all types of risk(both financial and nonfinancial) towards the development of newcorporate client relationships. Adherence to Risk Management policyand regulatory requirements. Close liaison with Risk Legal andCompliance in the fulfilment of duties.

The teamoperates in a challenging and pressurized environment in the middleof the WBE team. Requests from Relationship Managers often workingwithin short timeframes with established external deadlines forapproval. The Senior Credit Analyst holds detailed knowledge of thebanks Credit Risk Policies and Procedures and will from timetotimequestion internal requirements with the relevant stakeholders ifthe proposal does not fit the banks risk appetite/creditpolicies.

WhatYou Will BeDoing:

• Toundertake in a timely manner the preparation and submission ofCredit Applications (CAFs) for new business proposals and annualreviews assisting and advising as required other Department membersinvolved in such CAF preparations.
• To undertakeindepth financial analysis of inter alia balance sheet profit& loss and cash flow statements in support of CAFpresentations in line with best practices fully liaising wherenecessary with Relationship Managers Product Managers etc to ensureadequate information flows.
• To undertakeregular monitoring of interim financial information in line withbest practices advising Relationship Managers IBRMD and CAD asappropriate.
• To monitor Conditions of Approvalliaising with Relationship Managers and Front Office staff toensure timely compliance/satisfaction of conditions and trackersadvising CAD and IBRMD as appropriate.
• Toaccess as required external information sources and appropriateresearch databases in support of CAFpresentations.
• In conjunction with RelationshipManagers and others to undertake client visits attend client callsand meetings as required for the purposes of information gatheringand monitoring.
• To monitor current developmentswhich may affect the Banks customers and recommend appropriateaction if necessary.
• To comply with the Banksinternal risk management policies (including Group Credit Policy)and procedures and general standards ofoperations.
• To liaise with Risk Management andother Bank departments as and whennecessary.
• To comply with all relevant externallegal regulatory and reporting requirements.
• Toprovide mentoring training and guidance to team members as and whennecessary.
• To support / deputize for the Headof Client Credit Management in respect of the team and in adhocriskrelated special tasks andprojects.

CandidateSpecification :

• Detailedunderstanding of credit analysis (corporates banks NBFIsetc)
• Understanding of risks (financial andnonfinancial) covering various industries (not limited to oil& gas manufacturing real estate etc.)
• Detailed understanding of the Banks internalprocesses policies and procedures
• Awareness forand interest in international politics andeconomics
• Good communication skills (writtenverbal)
• Minimum three years corporate creditanalysis experience
• Experience of projectionsand financial modelling an advantage
• Experienceof trade finance products an advantage
• Teamplayer ability to meet deadlines.
• Attention todetail conscientiousapproach
