It’s an exciting time at Evri as we are growing internationally which means we need more people onboard to make exciting things happen. We are recruiting for a Senior Commercial Manager to manage some of our biggest international accounts. You will take complete control of our customers and be responsible for every aspect of the client (right from design through to implementation and management).

We are looking for someone to look after our largest International volume accounts. You will need to be proficient at managing high profile, high expectation clients and demonstrate the ability to form strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, right up to CEO level. We also expect you to be commercially savvy and have experience of identifying and realising end-to-end profit opportunities.

In a multi-client portfolio, you’ll be expected to be an expert in the account with an ability to cover projects and queries involving, but not limited to:

  • Operational development
  • Customer services
  • Customer experience and product adoption
  • Quarterly business reviews
  • Finance and Invoicing
  • Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly/Annual performance reviews
  • Daily network visibility

You will also be expecting to support and lead a small team of client managers to retain business, secure contracts, grow rates, grow rates, improve profitability & attract new volumes from our existing client base.

In addition, you will be expected to take control of day to day management & your teams development.  Taking responsibility for ensuring regular 1-2-1 meetings to discuss their portfolios & assuming ownership & accountability for rate, volume & opportunity targets & budgets.  Ensuring the team are motivated, challenged & developed with regular performance appraisals.  Also representing the business as a senior manager at client meetings and taking ownership of commercial proposals for the clients within your portfolio.

You will also on occasion be asked to support your direct line manager on projects or tasks initiated by the business.

This role is very high profile within Evri and you will be exposed to all senior people within our business, right up to CEO, which leads to strong development opportunities.

You will work within a fast-moving and dynamic environment with a great team who have a really strong work ethos. This will give you the opportunity to work/learn from some of the best in the industry.

You will be accountable for:

  • Management and retention of Evris’ international corporate client portfolio
  • Manage the full end-to-end process with our customers 
  • Drive service performance and enhance margins through strong commercial acumen
  • Protecting and growing both domestic and international volume share from our clients
  • Robust contract management
  • Maintain and manage cash-flow
  • Liaising with Operational Management to recommend workable solutions to service level recovery programmes and new initiatives (service improvement, corrective measures, ad-hoc solution design)
  • Analyse and implement change through our business and our customers’ businesses


A Full Driving licence is required and the role may require significant travel (including overseas travel) & on occasion working unsociable hours

To be successful you will


  • Previous experience in an account management or commercial management role
  • Specialism in international exporting and importing for E-commerce
  • Retail/ecommerce/ logistics/parcel/technology background
  • Possessing industry knowledge and experience of the B2C home shopping (desirable, not essential)
  • Experience of operational cost, commercial profitability and P&L
  • Experience of building annual budgets in line with business expectation
  • Strong presentation skills and business acumen
  • Experience of procurement and tender processes
  • Experience of holding and developing strategic client relationships
  • Ability to work with data and use it to produce client facing presentations and proposals
  • Experience in managing and leading people
