30063 - D&IT DIGITAL SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST At Eni , we are looking for a D&IT Digital Senior Business Analyst within ETB in London . You will be responsible for covering the whole application lifecycle (starting from requirement gathering, analysis, design & testing, through to post-go-live) and customer focus using an agile and design thinking approach to ensure that new developments and systems are fit for purpose. ETB is present in the UK, in Italy, in Singapore and through a subsidiary, in Houston - USA. As a member of the digital department at ETB you will be responsible for
  • Autonomously supporting requirements gatherings and specifications, choosing the most effective means to elicit and document these with workshops, storyboards, user stories, or other methods.
  • Having a holistic view of solutions, analysing the wider impact of changes and engaging additional teams where required to ensure all stakeholders are represented.
  • Analysing and verifying requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards, as well as documenting these fully.
  • Working closely with development teams to analyse, prototype and deliver on requirements as efficiently as possible.
  • Supporting and, where appropriate, performing solution design.
  • Owning and managing streams of concurrent work across different domain areas and taking accountability for their delivery.
  • Complying with established processes where required, and working across teams to define processes and documentation/training as new features and systems are implemented.
  • Contributing to the definition of full testing procedures, and working with our business colleagues to plan and deliver these to ensure that newly developed functionality and newly implemented systems are fit for purpose.
  • Performing quality assurance testing on application changes and features within the D&IT domain and supporting business users in their acceptance testing and any application training required.
  • Promoting and maintaining strong delivery standards across the organisation with a focus on both quality and timelines.
  • Challenging existing processes and technology to improve both functionality and efficiency, implementing industry best practices where required.
  • Proactively identifying process or technology gaps and risks where changes will benefit IT and/or business teams.
  • Providing in-depth business context to the development and application maintenance teams where required and support in the resolution of high-priority Production support issues.
  • Managing relationships with third-party service providers to monitor and improve where required the quality of support provided to end-users of trading applications.
  • Mentoring team members to develop their knowledge of processes and technology within the organisation and to support their delivery of solutions.
This is the opportunity for you if you have these skills and requirements :
  • University degree with emphasis on STEM subjects or Computer Science, or equally by experience.
  • experience working as a functional or technical Business Analyst in a financial or trading environment.
  • experience working with an ETRM/CTRM solution; relevant implementation or configuration experience is an asset.
  • Knowledge of the Commodity or Energy markets is a requirement; experience with the Oil, Refined Products or Biofuels markets is an asset.
  • Knowledge of the trade lifecycle, including trade capture, validation and valuation is a requirement; detailed knowledge of physical Commodity trading and operations is an asset.
  • Experience mentoring and developing team members and a desire to learn and share knowledge.
  • Experience with Cloud Transformation is an asset.
  • Experience applying methodologies of Agile, design thinking and UI/UX is an asset.
  • Experience with new cloud technologies of, Data Analytics, AI, ML, BI and cyber security is an asset.
  • Knowledge of programming or scripting languages is an asset.
