Senior Application Security Engineer - London - FS - up to £150,000 + Bonus
La Fosse has partnered with a leading FS organization to hire a Senior Application Security Engineer. You will form part of the Security team, working closely with Software and Platform Engineering teams, advising on security best practices across the SDLC.
The ideal candidate will be able to review and discuss code with Software Engineers, work closely with them to introduce security measures and secure coding best practices, whilst contributing to the wider Security roadmap.
Key Responsibilities:
- Run threat modelling sessions and workshops to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
- Develop and implement tooling and automation to enhance security measures.
- Ownership of SAST/DAST/SCA tools and processes.
- Review source code and architectural designs to ensure adherence to security best practices.
Requirements:
- Software Engineering experience (Python/Go preferred but others considered)
- Source Code / Architectural Review Experience
- Experience working in a cloud native environment.
