About Future Education

Microsoft, Disney, Apple....and now Future Education!

Unlike other recruitment agencies, Future Education started as a passion project and was founded in 2001 by a former Primary School Head Teacher, Derek Attwell and his wife Mary, a former youth worker. Being well connected within the teaching community, Derek and Mary had heard many complaints from their peers about the pressures of recruiting within local schools and thus Future Education was born.

Derek and Mary, along with their sons (who were also previously teachers), are still at the heart of the business today which has grown from a small shed to a local, double storey office with 3 divisions. In homage to the companies humble early beginnings, the boardroom is now appropriately named “the shed” as a reminder of how far the Attwell’s have come.

We deal with all recruitment needs for Schools, Colleges and Special Educational Needs Provisions.
