The Supply Register are proud to be working as a managed service on behalf of St Luke's C of E Primary School.
We are working with them to recruit a School Playworker to start in September 2024.
They are looking for eager and energetic individuals with a positive work ethic to join their wraparound provision.
You will work alongside other staff to provide a stimulating learning environment before and after school.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a primary school setting and will hold a relevant childcare qualification.
Responsibilties
- Supervising and engaging with children through play and conversation.
- Setting up and leading fun and stimulating activites.
- Safeguarding and ensuring children's wellbeing and safety at all times.
- Working as part of a team to create a safe, welcoming and engaging environment.
- Any other reasonable duties as requested.
Requirements
- Recent and relevant experience in a primary school setting.
- Hold a relevant childcare qualification.
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service OR be willing to process a new application.
- Provide a minimum of two professional references.
