Eden Scott is delighted to be working with a Scottish owned fast- growing, independent hospitality group with a portfolio of restaurants situated in Scotland and the North of England. Their Head office is based in Glasgow.

They have a robust Sales & Marketing team and looking to add an experienced individual who join the team in a new role of Sales Manager.

You’ll be a Central belt of Scotland based results driven, commercial and experienced B2B sales professional with the ability to manage multiple products and accounts across different market sectors. Working on your own initiative you will devise a robust sales strategy to maximise business growth such as private dining, meetings, business lunches and networking events within our restaurants and event spaces. It goes without saying that you’ll have excellent written and presentation skills but also have:

  • Strong interpersonal skills to build on existing client relations and to forge new ones, ultimately leading to business growth.
  • A high degree of commercial awareness with experience of developing and implementing sales strategies within the hospitality sector, preferably within F&B and city centre properties.
  • A can-do attitude with an appetite for new ideas to generate business.
  • Experience of managing a sales team, mentoring, motivating and leadership.
  • Solid financial acumen with a proven track record of setting and achieving budget targets.

They’re a busy, friendly team and strong collaboration skills and is essential.

Reporting to the Head of Sales and Marketing, you’ll be working to defined KPIs to:

  • Create a robust business plan to maximise B2B customers across the portfolio.
  • Seek new business opportunities with 3rd parties such as convention bureaus, event management companies and on-line agencies.
  • Work with the marketing team, creating an innovative sales toolkit.
  • Generate and undertake client site inspections.
  • Organise and participate in monthly sales blitzes.
  • Work with restaurant GMs to plan and organise sales events.
  • Regularly attend networking and sales events and stay informed about market trends and opportunities.
  • Maintain and expand a lead database on their CRM system – HubSpot.
  • Host networking meetings across Aberdeen, Glasgow, and Edinburgh to increase awareness of our offerings, generating and converting new business leads.
  • Provide regular updates on activities, sales leads, and conversions.
  • Responsible for a small sales team you’ll motivate, mentor, lead and identify key areas of market growth.

Skills and experience required:

  • 5+ years sales management experience
  • An outstanding record of sales achievement, ideally within the hospitality or leisure sector
  • Established relationships within the events sector and businesses across the central belt.
  • Excellent IT skills and experience with effective use and development of a CRM system
  • Proficient in English - any second language is a bonus.
  • A valid UK driving licence
