The Sustainability Group helps organisations, brands, investment funds, individuals, and family offices achieve greater performance by focusing on developing their sustainability and social impact strategies, designing and measuring social and sustainability objectives, and developing and managing corporate and family foundations.

We are a fast-growing startup that has developed our SaaS-based sustainability measurement platform, FuturePlus. We are looking for a Sales Executive to help us grow and build on our portfolio of clients.

We work with some of the most ambitious and exciting brands worldwide and need an imaginative business development professional to help potential customers understand and realise their sustainability and social impact objectives in a way that improves impact, performance and profitability.

The Opportunity

We're seeking a driven and results-oriented Sales Manager to join our growing team and spearhead the sales of our innovative FuturePlus SaaS platform. You'll be pivotal in driving revenue growth, building a robust sales pipeline, and exceeding targets.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan for FuturePlus that aligns with overall company goals.
  • Prospect and identify qualified leads, developing a deep understanding of client needs and challenges and converting them into paying customers.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from initial outreach to negotiation and closing deals.
  • Build strong relationships with potential and existing clients, understand their needs, and demonstrate the value proposition of FuturePlus.
  • Take ownership of our CRM system and other sales tools, ensuring all data is accurate and current.
  • Analyse sales data and reports, identifying trends and optimising sales strategies.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Contribute to the development of sales processes and tools to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, with a proven track record of exceeding quotas and achieving revenue growth.
  • Deep understanding of the SaaS sales lifecycle and expertise in closing complex deals.
  • Strong knowledge of sustainability practices, ESG reporting, relevant industry trends, and the challenges businesses face in this space.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build trust and rapport with clients at all levels.
  • Data-driven approach with proficiency in CRM software and a strong understanding of sales metrics and forecasting.
  • Self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
