Position Overview:

You will spearhead the sales and key account management responsibilities.

Following recent fundraising, the company is executing a high-growth plan to expand its business.

Your primary focus will be on medium-sized accounts, and you will take an entrepreneurial role in heading and growing this segment.

Additionally, you will act as the main business partner for large accounts, which include some of the UK's most prominent retail stores.

There will also be opportunities to drive the company's direct online sales.

You will work as part of a tight-knit team with direct reporting to the co-founders.

This role offers the opportunity for immediate impact, with the potential for equity in the business for high performers.

Responsibilities:

1.    

Sales Generation:

•         Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets.

•         Identify and pursue new business opportunities through all sales channels.

•         Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline to ensure consistent sales growth.

2.    

Account Management:

•         Nurture relationships with existing clients to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.

•         Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, addressing any inquiries or concerns in a timely and professional manner.

•         Collaborate with the marketing team to create tailored sales materials and promotions to support account growth and retention.

•         Monitor sales trends and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product improvement or expansion.

3.    

Market Analysis:

•         Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and market developments to inform sales strategies and positioning.

•         Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging opportunities and potential areas for business growth.

•         Provide regular reports and insights on sales performance, market dynamics, and customer feedback to senior management.

Qualifications:

•         Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the food and beverage industry.

•         Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and maintain long-term relationships with clients.

•         Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a customer-centric approach.

•         Self-motivated and results-driven, with a passion for driving business growth.

•         Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced start-up environment.

•         Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Unleashed, and CRM software.

•         Interest in analytics for e-commerce.

•         Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred.
