Kenyon International have an exciting opportunity for a driven Sales Development Representative to join our friendly Bracknell based team. You will be responsible for prospecting and qualifying new opportunities to help drive new account acquisition and help the company achieve its revenue goals. You will also be responsible for processing and managing daily sales and customer service tasks in addition to building strong relationships with customers through web, email, and telephone sales.


The role will be primarily office based and will be handling inbound and outbound sales activity. This is not an environment for ‘quick wins’ and will see you building relationships over time using a consultative sales approach to win business.


You Will:


(Business Development)


  • Grow customer account base through effective consultative cold calling, qualifying, and managing lead generation strategies
  • Drive sales and build new and productive relationships with customers / potential customers through outbound sales activity.
  • Research new clients by industry, region and job titles via LinkedIn and other web-based platforms to build targeted lists for proactive reach out.
  • Confident at cold calling and prospecting
  • Actively seek out applicable tender opportunities through a variety of online portals and search engines
  • Support company bids and tenders.
  • Attend exhibitions, events, and networking opportunities.
  • Engage with clients to ensure we exceed their expectations and seek opportunities to expand our portfolio and enhance our reputation within the industry.
  • Deliver compelling sales pitches and presentations to new prospects, effectively articulating the value proposition.
  • Support the Account Managers in lead and opportunity generation.
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline by tracking leads, opportunities and prospects through the sales process.
  • Develop and execute strategies to grow revenue from new customers.
  • Be a point of contact for inbound enquiries (web, email, phone)



(Service Delivery)


  • Utilise the company’s CRM system to support all sales activity.
  • Support departmental managers to achieve better sales results for all company products and services.
  • Conduct market research to actively seek out and identify selling and upselling opportunities and trends.
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry development to stay competitive.
  • Assist with the collation of sales and marketing statistics.


(Quality Assurance)


Maintain an accurate and reliable system of audit, maintenance, and accountancy of all company commercial processes in accordance with ISO9001.



What we are looking for:


  • Sales Experience: At least 2 years of experience in sales and client management with inbound and outbound telesales experience in a fast-paced environment
  • To be successful in this role, a sales development representative should demonstrate a sense of urgency, a proclivity to achieve, effective cold call/email skills, experience developing leads, an ability to quickly research and identify key decision makers and a successful track record of meeting inside sales quotas
  • Ability to rapidly grasp and implement sales strategies to meet performance targets.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Active listening skills with a commitment to providing prompt and comprehensive responses to customer inquiries.
  • Self-motivated, strong planning, organizational and time management skills
  • Tireless work ethic
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to handle multiple situations simultaneously.
  • Familiar with Aviation, Security and Events sector desirable (training will be provided)
  • Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques
  • Keen attention to detail; able to critically review own output.
  • Proven experience of upselling
  • A desire to learn and acquire new knowledge and skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Previous experience as a member of a cohesive and effective sales team
  • Some overseas travel may be required.
  • Must be able to work independently, accepting accountability for achieving defined goals and objectives.
  • Proficient in MS Office Programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM software required, experience of Salesforce, desirable.
