Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for a Strategic Resourcing Manager for our Public Sector client.

The Strategic Resourcing Manager will be a vital role in ensuring that the organisation is attracting and recruiting talented staff in accordance with their regulatory agenda and achieve the organisation’s strategic objectives.

In this role the ideal candidate will have the opportunity to craft the recruitment and resourcing offer for the organisation as a new people strategy is being implemented

Key responsibilities for the Strategic Resourcing Manager will include;

• Leading, developing and delivering the organisation’s attraction and recruitment approach, employer branding and ensuring that the recruitment needs of the organisation are met
• Overseeing strategic workforce planning to guarantee accurate projections of resourcing requirements in collaboration with HRBPs, the Delivery team, and the Organisational Development team
• Conducting research, analysis, and benchmarking to comprehend the labour market for the organisations positions and identify experienced applicants
• Using professional expertise to design the selection, and assessment methodology to ensure fit for purpose
• Creating the organisation’s attraction strategy, which includes enhancing the organisation’s Employee Value Proposition to facilitate more successful applicant attraction
• Leading the recruitment team's advice and assistance to hiring managers in creating and delivering applicant pipelines that satisfy their recruitment requirements
• Working with the delivery team to guarantee that resource allocation and business strategy are completely in line
• Collaborating with HR colleagues and other departments to guarantee a seamless transition from recruitment to onboarding
• Leading the continued improvement of communication channels, hiring processes, and contract terms to ensure a reasonable, cost-effective, and efficient approach that balances the needs of the business and applicant experience
• Leading and managing the recruitment team to best meet the needs of an agile organisation

The Ideal candidate for the Strategic Resourcing Manager will have;

• Prior experience in recruitment
• Experience in a similar role
• Experience of resourcing and recruitment in the public sector or a civil service organisation
• MCIPD qualification
• Budget handling experience would be beneficial
• Line Management experience is essential
