We are now looking for a Reservations & EventsManager ready to join a young and vibrant team and available to startimmediately.

The ideal candidate must demonstrate genuine dedicationand show a commitment to consistent quality in our products and services.

Main duties/responsibilities:

As Reservations & Events Manager your main responsibilities will be to:

-       Oversee accuracy of room blocks,reservations, and group market codes.

-        As Events Manager you will beresponsible for the entire event process from initial enquiry through tocompletion.

-        Working closely with the sales teamto ensure a smooth transition from booking confirmation to delivery ofimpeccable events.

-        Providing excellent customerservice and support to all attending events, conferences and meetings withinthe Hotel.

-       Communicate company values and/or culture to new employees.

-       Review and implementnew Reservations procedures.

-        Process all reservation requests,changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or mail. Identify guestreservation needs and determine appropriate room type.

-       Verify availability of room type and rate.

-        Explain guarantee, special rate,and cancellation policies to callers and accommodate and document specialrequests.

-        Overview of Front of HouseReception operations day to day movements, including room allocations,reception trainings, monitor movements of the day, rotas for the month anduploading rotas for the department on the hotel systems

-        Answer questions about propertyfacilities/services and room accommodations. Follow sales techniques tomaximize revenue.

-        Input and access data inreservation system. Respond to any challenges found for accommodating roomingrequests.

-        Set-up proper billing accountsaccording to accounting policies. Troubleshoot, resolve, and document guestissues and concerns or escalate/refer to appropriate individual.

-       Engage and motivatethe front office teams

-        You will have previous Front Office/ Reservation experience and you must possess the right attitude and flair towork in this very special hotel.
