Do you have a proven track record a commitment to high levels of customer service along with substantial experience of dealing with customers on a face-to-face basis, working in an emotionally challenging environment?

Do you have experience of working in a busy office environment using multiple IT systems?

If yes, then this could be a role for you.

As a Registration Officer you will provide a professional service to customers, obtaining information by questioning to register life events, following births, deaths, marriage,s and civil partnerships. 

You must have experience of working in an environment governed by legislation, have an attention to detail and be able to create and maintain accurate legal records.

Good handwriting skills are important in this role. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for the collection and reconciliation of statutory fees and secure stationary therefore must have developed numeracy skills.

As a Registration Office you will be involved with the wide range of ceremonies we offer, including marriage, civil partnership, and citizenship ceremonies and so you must be a confident public speaker and be able to present information both clearly and appropriately to meet the needs of the audience.

This role will involve regular weekend working.

Ceremonies can take place at various times and venues across the city.
