Senior Recruitment Partner – IT MSP Account

London - 5 days on site per fortnight

12-Month FTC- Maternity cover

About the role:

As a Senior Recruitment Partner, working on one of Hays’ established MSP IT accounts, you will be responsible for maximizing fee performance by effectively managing the on-boarding and recruitment process, meeting overall fulfilment demands, and partnering with clients to deliver tailored recruitment solutions.

You will assist management as an experienced member of the team and report to the Senior Client Manager.

What it looks like day to day:

  • Develop and nurture relationships with key contacts.
  • Provide specialist advice, support, and recommendations on specific market conditions.
  • Partner with hiring managers to advise on recruitment best practices.
  • Demonstrate your personal brand, expertise, and credibility to clients, candidates, and colleagues.
  • Meet individual placement and fee targets, contributing to team targets.
  • Identify and escalate areas for improvement in service delivery.
  • Coach and support associate client partners and client partners.
  • Assist the Client Team Leader/Manager with team activities and support management initiatives.
  • Lead by example, exhibiting Hays values.

To be successful, you should have:

  • Proven experience in engaging, collaborating, and understanding the demands of stakeholders (clients, candidates, suppliers, and internal).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective objection handling and active listening skills.
  • Independent management of the recruitment cycle and awareness of methods and techniques to support the process.
  • Ownership and accountability for workload and key deliverables.
  • Proven evidence of supporting the learning and development of more junior team members.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Excellent working knowledge of key systems (e.g., ATS) and processes.
  • Ability to analyse complex reports and data.

Desirable:

  • Experience in maximizing use of relevant systems by new employees.
  • Proactive in flagging potential issues to management.
  • Demonstrates a strong commercial awareness and identifies growth opportunities.
  • Committed to maintaining data integrity and accuracy.
  • Experience working in IT Recruitment

It would be beneficial to have:

  • Strategies to maximize networks and information resources.
  • Experience in developing and evolving account/portfolio.
  • Ability to manage client expectations in line with market conditions and Equal Employment Opportunities principles.
  • Experience in facilitating end-to-end recruitment solutions from sourcing to placement and aftercare.
  • Knowledge of recruitment technology systems (OneTouch, 3SS, or others), websites, and networking groups to meet client requirements.
