About Turning-Point

We support people to make the life choices they want. With health and wellbeing expertise that spans drug and alcohol use, mental health, learning disability, and sexual health, we’re inspired by the positive change we see people achieve every day.

For sixty years, people have come to Turning Point to support them to improve their lives. Often they’ve come at a point when their life felt out of control or they didn’t know where else to turn.

For some that was a sense they were becoming too reliant on alcohol, for others it was needing to develop the skills and personal resources to navigate challenges with their mental health. Or people with a learning disability, who want support to live an independent and fulfilling life on their own terms. We believe every person is equally important, and has the potential to grow, learn, and make their own choices.

As a leading social enterprise, providing community based health and social care services in over 280 locations across England, we aim to empower people to discover new possibilities in their lives and improve their health and wellbeing.
