js Developer – 6 Month Contract – Hybrid (Sheffield) – Outside IR35

Chapman Tate Associates are recruiting for a skilled React.

js Developer to join our clients in-house development team to build a new product.

As a React.

js Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing user interface components for their new reporting solution.

This is a hybrid role, with up to two days per week in their offices near Sheffield.

Responsibilities

As a React.

js Contract Developer, your responsibilities will include:

• Collaboration: Meeting with the development team to discuss user interface ideas and application requirements.
• Design and Development: Reviewing application requirements and interface designs, identifying web-based user interactions, and developing and implementing highly responsive user interface components using React concepts.
• Coding and Troubleshooting: Writing application interface code using JavaScript following React.js workflows, troubleshooting interface software, and debugging application code.
• Front-End Architecture: Developing and implementing front-end architecture to support user interface concepts.
• Performance Optimization: Monitoring and improving front-end performance.
• Documentation: Documenting application changes and developing updates.

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a React.js Developer.
• In-depth knowledge of TypeScript/JavaScript, CSS, HTML.
• Good understanding of DOM manipulation and Virtual DOM.
• Familiarity with React tools, including React.js, Vite, Enzyme, Redux, and Flux.
• Experience with user interface design.
• Knowledge of performance testing frameworks, such as Mocha and Jest.
• Proficiency in browser-based debugging and performance testing software.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Good project management skills.
• Excellent communication skills and a willingness to help upskill our in-house team.

Nice to Haves

• Any backend experience, primarily ASP.NET Core.
• Understanding of Microservice architecture.
• Docker management (docker build and docker-compose) and deployment.
• Azure PaaS usage and management.
• Familiarity with other JS/common libraries such as Angular, RXJS, SwaggerGen.
