Hiring Now: Quality Inspector, Fabrication / Manufacturing, MiddlesbroughOur client is a global manufacturer and supplier of steel structures, working across a number of sectors including telecommunications.Due to continued company success, they require a Quality Inspector to join their business on a permanent basis.Are you currently working within a welding / fabrication environment and looking for something new?This role could be for you...As a Quality Inspector, you'll be a integral part of the production team ensuring the quality of products are manufactured in accordance with current standardsYou'll provide advice, guidance, training and support to the production team in following manufacturing procedures in accordance with BS EN 9001 quality standardsResponsibilities of a Quality Inspector: * Conduct random Inspection of product throughout the manufacturing process checking compliance with current procedures * Conduct End of Line inspections and reporting using documented photograph evidence * Support client visits and Compile records of materials, consumables and certificates and prepare reports for client conformance packs. * Understanding complicated engineering drawings to check compliance against manufacturing procedure offering support. * Maintain records of welder qualifications and training associated with procedures * Arrange and maintain records of measuring tools and welder set calibrations * Carry out internal audits in accordance with the quality manual and maintain records * Conduct inspections against engineering drawings on imported goods and galvanising qualityIdeal knowledge and experience: * Background in welding and fabrication inspection procedures * Ability to carry out internal audits and reporting * Quality control mindset * 5 years previous Quality Inspection experienceWhat's in it for you?You'll join a global business based in Middlesbrough and will receive a healthy salary and additional benefits such as 25 days holidays, auto enrolment pension and support for development.For more information on this vacancy or to discuss your wider job search, please call Scott Webb directly on the below contact details.This vacancy is being advertised by Teespro Recruitment Ltd, our services are that of an Employment Agency & Business
