If you are someone who wants to work in a company that will advance your career and treat you as more than a numberMon-Thu- 07:30-16:30Friday- 07:30-12:30Job Description:Promoting the QA departmental reporting systems, ensuring that they are effective and map to the current objectives of the business and highlighting negative trends or areas of concern to the SHEQ Manager.Manage all quality-related issues within the manufacturing team (e.g. internal, supplier, customer and customer)Identify root cause and investigate permanent corrective actions for product quality issuesWork with internal and external stakeholders to resolve quality issues that arise as quickly and efficiently as possible to prevent compromising quality and safety standardsCarry out product and process auditingEnsure control plans and associated documentation are implemented effectively and maintainedMonitor and report on quality-related key performance indicators including scrap monitoring, rework levels, parts per million (PPM) figuresEnsure compliance and assist with adherence to the Quality Management system (ISO9001)Promoting and upholding company performance standards and policies.Quality management, ensuring a pro-active approach to quality using data and Root Cause Analysis (RCA)Participating in business improvement activities.Keep up with current and developing manufacturing and engineering trends that concern product qualityContribute to continuous improvement activitiesSupport and lead process improvement activitiesWrite reports and present progress at project meetings and to clientsConduct benchmarking studies to determine best practices/designs and future trendsPlan projects or subtasks so they may be tracked and presentedAttend various meetings and action/communicate instructionsProduce written reports and make presentationsUndertake continuous training and developmentPerform root cause analysis and resolve problemsIndependently determine approach and assigned taskResponsible for closure of supplier, internal & customer NC’s in a timely manner.Supporting the Quality Inspectors with inspection activities.Skills and Requirements:Knowledge of ISO9001, ISO14001 & ISO45001Experience within Defence and Oil and Gas enviromentsPrevious experience in Machinist roles (desirable)Suitable for a Quality Technician looking to developPossess a broad background in APQP processes / manufacturing with a wide range of knowledge on manufacturing and production processes, preferably fabrication and machining related.Ability to read and interpret mechanical engineering & technical drawings.Have a working understanding of procurement & ERP
