Our client is a leading engineering manufacturer and specialise in the supply of components to various sectors.As a Quality Engineer you receive a wide range of benefits such as, Flexi hours, up to 14% Pension contribution, Cycle to work scheme, Free optician and dentist appointments and a salary of £35,000 to £40,000 paThis Huddersfield based new state of the art facility is easily accessible from the M62 and surrounding areas such as Leeds, Bradford, Halifax, Wakefield and CastlefordQuality Engineer : (The Role)Quality Concern Identification and Documentation: Identify and document areas of concern related to product quality and processes.Root Cause Investigation and Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams in investigating quality issues and determining their root causes.Collaboration and Corrective Actions: Collaborate with departmental and technical teams to implement corrective actions and error-proofing measures.Validation and Comprehensive Reporting: Validate all corrective actions to ensure effective resolution and document findings, actions, and validations in comprehensive reports.Risk Assessment and Continuous Improvement: Develop and lead a Risk Review team to assess and improve risk ratings through Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
