As the Townhouse business continues to expand across the UK and Internationally we are looking for a Management Accountant who will play a major role in the ongoing success and development of the finance function within Townhouse.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As the Management Accountant you will be responsible for delivering and improving the monthly financial reporting. You will play a key role in delivering timely and accurate P&L reporting and balance sheet reconciliations across both the UK and US entities as well as oversight of statutory reporting requirements across multiple entities.

ROLE OVERVIEW:

• Ensuring the timely and accurate preparation of month end accounts across both our UK and US entities
• Responsibility for the preparation of balance sheet account reconciliations monthly
• Lead reviewer for monthly bank reconciliations, AP and AR positions
• Responsibility for inventory accounting including inventory analysis and provisions
• Responsibility for overseeing accruals and provisions across the group
• Reporting and compliance
• Oversight of all property related accounting
• Completion of the preparation of the draft annual financial statements
• Acting as a key contact for the Statutory Audits and tax advisors
• Look to continuously improve and automate the reporting and reconciliation processes
• Support the Financial Controller on ad hoc projects including ERP implementation
• Support the Financial Controller in delivering reporting for new business divisions across International, Franchise and Product

ABOUT YOU:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
• Experience working in a fast-paced growth environment
• Ability to adapt to changing processes and systems as the business changes
• Good attention to detail and willingness to implement new controls as required
• Experienced user of Microsoft Excel and Accounting systems
• Excellent communication skills

LOCATION:

Our office is based in Central London and we offer a discretionary hybrid working model, based on the requirements of the role.
