Project Engineer - Kidderminster - £45,000-£50,000 - Fabrication & Heavy EngineeringProject Engineer required to join a bespoke turnkey solutions provider of process plant equipment, based in Kidderminster.As the successful Project Engineer you will bridge the gap between sales, design and operations, visiting customer sites to offer solutions to customers, liaising with the customer throughout the manufacturing process to installation. As the successful Project and Technical Engineer, you will also ensure projects both in-house and on-site are managed and organised in a cost effective and safe manner, ensuring complete customer satisfaction.My client has recently put in place a significant growth strategy which will provide the successful Project Engineer with a great opportunity to be part of helping to lead positive operational business change. The Package:Salary - £45,000 - £50,000Car allowance (circa £6,000)9am-5pm Monday-Friday25 days holiday + bank holidaysPension SchemeThe Role:The management and control of orders received from customers ranging from supply only to turnkey contracts consisting of design, manufacture, installation, and commissioning.Conduct site visits and collect information, specifications, measurements regarding project. Produce Method Statements & risk assessments related to the repair / installation of the project.Carryout design activities using a variety of CAD software and producing information for manufacturing purposes.Implementing contract management policies and procedures.Liaison with the sales department ensuring that the estimate of works can be realised in the most cost effective way without compromising on quality or safety.Liaison with customers in ensuring that their expectations are not only met but exceeded.Assisting the sales team in preparing estimates & project specifications and requirements.Working with Production Manager & Stores personnel to ensure correct plant and raw materials is available for forthcoming projects.Review efficiency of site and manufacturing operations to ensure Quality, Cost and Delivery schedules are met.Requirements:Proven project and technical experience, ideally within an SME.Will ideally have worked as a Project Engineer / Technical Engineer or equivalent within an engineering fabrication company, ideally with experience of fitting / servicing equipment.Someone with mechanical understanding and solid manufacturing industry knowledge.Experience using design software, such as AutoCAD & Solidworks would be highly advantageous.
