Production Manager in Kirkby

Job Title:  Production SupervisorSalary: Up to £30,000kLocation: Liverpool  Hours :  Monday to Friday 0730am -1630pm  Type: PermanentOur client based in Liverpool is  currently has an exciting opportunity for a production supervisor to join their Team. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic and forward-thinking person with production experience. Working across all areas of the factory, supporting the team to ensure they strive to the highest of standards at all times, providing inspirational leadership and direction to ensure that people are kept safe, engaged, focused and always delivering to their potential.Main Duties and Responsibilities Manage and coordinate all production activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations.Manage and lead all production staff.Ensure all products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.Oversee the maintenance of equipment and machinery to ensure reliability and safety.Implement and maintain health and safety protocols in the production environment.Manage and train production staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.Collaborate with other departments, including procurement, logistics, and sales, to streamline operations and improve overall efficiency.Monitor production costs and implement cost-saving measures where possible.Prepare and present regular reports on production performance to business owner/directors.Streamline current production processes.Identify and implement training for staff.Qualifications and Experience:Proven experience as a Production Manager or in a similar roleBackground within FMCG/food manufacturing industry would be advantage although not essentialStrong knowledge of production management principles, including lean manufacturing and quality control.Excellent organisational and leadership skills.Ability to problem-solve and make decisions under pressure.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in using production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.Familiarity with health and safety regulations and compliance standards.losing date is 25th of June 2024Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are operating as an employment agency on behalf of its client.To Apply please follow the application process for the site this job is advertised on or email your CV to (url removed).
