Along with a generous salary of £43,000 per annum, our client values growth, so the role offers the potential to advance into a senior management position, based on performance.Responsibilities in your new role as the Production ManagerKey responsibilities include managing and leading production teams to ensure they are well-resourced and trained, fostering a positive work environment, and driving continuous improvement. The role involves leading efficiency and safety projects, supporting capital improvements, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and GMP standards. The Production Manager will conduct NCR investigations, implement CAPA, and monitor KPIs like production output, delivery, downtime, OEE, and GMP adherence, implementing strategies for improvement.Your personality, experience and qualificationsThe ideal candidate for the Production Manager role will have previous experience in food production and a proven track record of managing teams within a manufacturing environment. They should possess strong leadership and team management skills, alongside excellent project management abilities. Proficiency in conducting NCR investigations and implementing CAPA is essential, as is an in-depth understanding of GMP and health and safety regulations. The ability to track and analyse KPIs to drive improvements is also crucial.
