About the role

We're looking for a passionate and experiences product marketing specialist to join our Central Brand and Marketing team.

Reporting to the Head of Product Marketing, the Product Marketing Specialist plays a crucial role in driving the success of ISP products across all levels of the organization and growing our products in the marketplace through strategic positioning, effective messaging, and targeted marketing efforts.

As a Product Marketing Specialist , you will be responsible for crafting compelling product narratives, driving demand generation, and spearheading successful product launches. You'll be a customer-centric leader with a deep understanding of the education market landscape and a proven ability to translate product and services features into clear value propositions.

We are looking for someone who has experience on brand and communications, who is ready to influence a growing organization with its passion, experience, and attitude. Kind, open-minded, bold, creative, determined, hands on. An individual that can inspire groups, someone that feels comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders on Mondays, writing a piece of content on Wednesdays and coaching colleagues on Fridays.

A few crucial considerations before we get into the detail:

  • The role will be preferably based in the UK, but we will consider all locations at this stage.
  • Native English is required as this role will need heavy copywriting skills. Fluent in Spanish is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

Product Marketing Execution:

  • Support the Head of Product Marketing in executing the product marketing vision and strategy.
  • Lead assigned product marketing projects and campaigns, ensuring alignment with overall product goals.
  • Create high-quality marketing collateral including product presentations, sales enablement materials, website content, case studies, and whitepapers.
  • Craft engaging and informative content that resonates with the target audience and effectively communicates the value proposition of the educational products.
  • Plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns to generate awareness, generate leads, and support with enrolments and retention goals.
  • Utilize various digital marketing channels such as social media, email marketing, content marketing, and paid advertising to reach the target audience and drive engagement.

Communication and Collaboration:

  • Collaborate effectively with the content and communications specialist and digital marketing manager to ensure a cohesive content strategy.
  • Work closely with other departments (Learning & Innovation, EdTech, HR, Regional and Local Marketing) to align marketing efforts with organizational objectives. Develop compelling value propositions and messaging strategies tailored to different target audiences such as educators, administrators, parents, and students.
  • Gather feedback from teams, schools and market insights to continually refine and iterate on product messaging, positioning, and marketing strategies.

Analysis and measurement:

  • Conduct thorough market research to understand the dynamics, trends, and competitive landscape of the global K-12 education sector. Identify key market segments, customer needs, and emerging opportunities.
  • Regularly report on campaign performance and contribute to reports for the leadership team..

Desired Experience and Skills:

  • Experience : 5-7 years of progressive experience in product marketing or related roles. Prior experience in the education industry or the K-12 education sector is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the global K-12 education market, including key players, trends, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and develop actionable marketing plans aligned with business objectives and market dynamics.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Hands-on Attitude: Demonstrated ability to work hands-on and take a proactive approach in executing marketing initiatives. Willingness to roll up sleeves and delve into the details when needed to drive results and achieve objectives.
  • Collaboration: Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to achieve common goals.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques to derive insights and inform decision-making.
  • Creativity: Creative mindset with a knack for developing innovative marketing campaigns and content that resonate with the target audience.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving environment. Willingness to embrace change and learn new skills as needed.
