Product Engineer
Belfast
Salary up to £35,000
Vickerstock are working in partnership with one of NI's leading home grown manufacturing companies for the recruitment of a Product Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a highly recognised manufacturing firm offering excellent progression routes.
Your new role
- Assist with the development and testing required for product development through to third party certification
- Generating general and specific information in support of products and their uses
- Generating design proposal
- Monitor, analyse and provide recommendations to enhance the manufacturing process using statistical tools, both proactively
- Establish and develop safe working methods for all aspects of product testing
- Maintain process documentation, including process flow diagrams, operating instructions, training documentation, product specifications
- Creating and maintaining product specifications
- Building proposals for product improvement based on the analysis of test results
- Regular review of product legislation and compliance including certification
What you'll need
- Engineering Degree
- Experience of 2D and 3D Cad packages
- Experience in product testing or product development
